Description
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in costing, financial analysis, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret financial data and present insights clearly.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain standard costing systems for products and operations.
- Perform detailed cost analysis and track cost drivers across departments.
- Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/standard) and provide insights.
- Prepare periodic cost reports and dashboards for management review.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate cost data.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to manage costs.
- Monitor inventory costing and ensure proper valuation and reconciliation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
- Assist in pricing decisions based on cost and margin analysis.
