Description
Qualifications & Experience
- HND/B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in mechanical projects or maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic inspections of third-party machines using approved checklists to ensure optimal performance and promptly escalate issues to service providers.
- Participate in the receipt, installation, commissioning, and testing of new plants, machinery, and equipment to confirm specifications.
- Supervise day-to-day project activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources.
- Prepare material requests and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to support project execution.
- Coordinate and supervise tasks carried out by in-house technicians and external vendors, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and proper use of tools by all technical personnel.
- Collaborate with AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) vendors and deputising personnel on maintenance activities
