Description
Qualifications
- Minimum of B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Professional registration with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria or membership of Nigerian Society of Engineers.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ suitable industrial experience in electrical maintenance or engineering operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Organize work schedules and allocate manpower for daily electrical maintenance activities within the plant.
- Oversee maintenance of electrical equipment across the factory, estate, and farm to ensure optimum performance and reliability.
- Raise purchase requisitions for electrical spare parts and monitor stock availability to support uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure all maintenance jobs are carried out under approved Work Permit systems and that Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures are strictly followed in line with HSE policies.
- Supervise planned preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure efficient plant operations.
- Participate in installation, commissioning, and testing of new electrical equipment and systems.
- Conduct power analysis and monitor electricity consumption to improve energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with Instrumentation Engineers to modify and optimize control systems for smooth process operations.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, QMS/FSMS requirements, and company operational procedures.
- Liaise with contractors on electrical installation and project execution activities
