Requirements
- Master’s degree or international equivalent in Public Health, Global Health, Health Policy, Medicine, Nursing, social sciences, or related field.
- Advanced degree (PhD, DrPH, MD) preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in global health programming.
- Training in implementation research, and health service delivery is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience with integrated MNCH and/or Nutrition programming.
- Experience working in sub-Saharan Africa, including technical assistance to government and local partners.
- Prior work with U.S. (USAID)- and/or BMGF-funded initiatives strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical oversight for integrated MNCH and Nutrition service delivery
- Supports the design and implementation of MNCH and Nutrition activities, at facility and community levels, ensuring technical excellence and consistency with national guidelines.
- Provides technical guidance to state-level teams to strengthen service delivery models, referral systems, and linkages to care.
- Contributes to development of workplans, budgets, MEL frameworks, and donor reporting for MNCH and Nutrition activities.
- Identifies opportunities for innovation, improved efficiency, and enhanced quality of integrated service delivery.
- Leads development and adaptation of tools, SOPs, guidelines, and job aids for MNCH/N programming.
- Ensures integration of evidence-based approaches across continuum of care.
- Strengthens partnerships with government, partners and represents EpiC Nigeria in MNCH/N technical forums, working groups, and donor engagements.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Project Director, EpiC Nigeria
