Qualifications
- 5 O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English.
- NABTEB / City & Guilds (C&G) Technical in Electrical or related discipline.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in electrical maintenance or industrial operations.
Responsibilities
- Report all electrical maintenance activities and findings to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, and equipment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and components to minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify electrical hazards and recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of electrical maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other departments to support smooth plant operations.
- Provide technical support during emergency power outages and equipment breakdowns.
- Support training and knowledge sharing for junior electricians on safety procedures and best maintenance practices.
- Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement programs within the plant.
