Description

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Certificate in Agriculture, Crop Production, Agribusiness, or related field.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in agricultural input sales or advisory services (added advantage).
  • Experience with smallholder farmers desirable.


Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, farm tools, and related agricultural inputs.
  • Identify and recruit new farmers, farmer groups, agro-dealers, and agribusiness clients.
  • Build strong customer relationships and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Provide agronomic guidance on crop selection, soil fertility, pest & disease control, input usage and safety.
  • Support farmers from enterprise selection to post-harvest handling.
  • Profile farmers and update records in Omia database (Kobo collect & Odoo).
  • Maintain inventory records and conduct stock takes.
  • Ensure all sales are receipted and entered in the accounting system.
  • Submit accountability documents on time.
  • Provide market intelligence reports.
  • Support procurement processes and supplier relations.
  • Represent company in meetings and exhibitions.
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality.
