About the role

Success, as it pertains to this role, is measured by how many end consumers Turaco acquires through any given partnership.
Business Development. You will proactively identify business opportunities to cultivate and grow the new business from existing partnerships.
Partner Relationship Management. You will develop and manage high-value partner relationships at the executive level with assigned local partners and coordinate with other internal teams to do so when needed.
Partnership Launches. You will manage all end-to-end pre and post-launch activities of newly onboarded partnerships by supporting the team in translating new partnership SLAs and developing and implementing communication and reporting protocols.
Pilot Management. You will project manage pilots with new and existing partnerships by training and managing pilot resources, field teams, and call center resources, creating pilot schedules, KPIs, and reporting protocols.
Reporting. You will ensure that all partners receive regular and accurate reports from TURACO while ensuring that it is captured in their in-house system, TACO.
It is existentially urgent to figure out a way to insure people who are not insured. Turaco is on a mission to free people from the fear of financial shocks. Their 25-year goal is to insure a billion people, doubling the number of people insured in the world.
They are a fast-growing financial services start-up in East Africa that is bringing a new model to health and risk financing for emerging customers. They offer subscription-based insurance products for the mass market bundled with regular transactions that people are already doing. They work through business partnerships to offer affordable insurance products that add real value to people’s lives.
