To support and enable the implementation of the policies and procedures that will ensure an effective talent management process in Gilanis. Furthermore, this role will support and enable the implementation of the policies and procedures that will ensure an effective Learning & Development process in Gilanis. This role will also assist to maintain and enhance the Gilanis competency framework and facilitate the related assessments to determine skills gaps.
A critical success factor to this role is the ability to understand the business plans and align the skills development programs to the achievement of business results.


Responsibilities
To support and enable the implementation of the policies and procedures that will ensure an effective talent management process in Gilanis. Furthermore, this role will support and enable the implementation of the policies and procedures that will ensure an effective Learning & Development process in Gilanis. This role will also assist to maintain and enhance the Gilanis competency framework and facilitate the related assessments to determine skills gaps.
A critical success factor to this role is the ability to understand the business plans and align the skills development programs to the achievement of business results.


• Assess the business and individual developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identify and arrange suitable training solutions for employees.
• Develop annual learning and development plan and objectives; plan, organize and facilitate employee development and training events.

• Develop a framework to analyze and monitor implementation of learning programmes to drive effectiveness and ensure relevance to the organization.

• Lead the development and implementation of a Leadership & Management Development Framework, and implement learning and development solutions to support reflective leadership and management practice, talent management and personal development planning.

• Continuously evaluate and monitor existing and new training programs to ensure continued relevance.

• Manage training budget and conduct Learning & Development in a cost effective manner.

• Participate in managing the competency framework within the organization and ensure the right linkages to resourcing plans (i.e. recruitment and re-deployment plans); performance management, succession management, etc.

• Support in developing clear career paths for the different job families within the organization; ensure learning initiatives and staff development plans are deployed in line with these guidelines.

• Provide oversight of the performance management process within the organization to ensure consistent implementation of agreed principles.

• Ensure consistent availability of the required data to make for an objective performance management process.

• Ensure the performance management process is periodically reviewed to drive increasing employee productivity.

• Focus on continuously building supervisor and line manager capability with respect to performance management to ensure the outcomes are reliable with respect to other HR levers such as career management, reward administration, etc.

• Conduct annual customer satisfaction reviews and use data to inform the HR scorecard

• Manage the entire performance management, learning & development end-to-end and ensure that fairness prevails.

• Manage compliance to policies and procedures at all times.

• Ensure compliance to standard operating procedures at all times.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure good corporate governance and to identify the risks in succession planning.

• Share information with HR colleagues to ensure consideration for Performance Management, Learning & development matters during execution of other HR processes.

• Plan, design and implement trainings for Drivers, SDOs, Warehouse Managers, Supervisors, Loaders & Unloaders based on needs.

• Design, create and implement training curriculums based on the apps and dashboards the company uses.

• Assist in the expansion of the company in different regions across Kenya to train and oversee new employees and ensure that the company policies and procedures are standardized and adhered to nationwide.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that training programs align with business goals and support organizational objectives.

• Ensure app usage is adhered to by all relevant users country wide.

• Monitor and track app usage country wide.
