Description


  • Identifying workplace hazards and risks and implementing appropriate control measures to prevent accidents and incidents.
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing Safe Systems of Work (SSW) for technicaland hazardous activities.
  • Oversee permit-to-work systems for high-risk activities (electrical isolation, working at height, confined space, hot works).
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and visible engagement with the on-site team.
  • Support emergency preparedness planning and drills (fire, evacuation, critical incident response) across the site.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Degree or HND in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication and training-delivery skills, with the ability to influence safety behaviour across a diverse workforce.
  • Minimum 3 years' HSE experience, ideally within Facilities Management, construction, industrial, or large public-venue/hospitality environments.
  • Certification in HSE, ISO, and NEBOSH is a plus.
