Design electronic hardware circuits and ensure it complies with specifications.
Design printed circuit board (PCB) layout as specified.
Create, maintain and update engineering related aspects (e.g. parts, bill of materials) of a design or product.
Develop processes and procedures that will support training technician competency to repair with the specified standards, guidelines and technical requirements.
Create, maintain and update repair procedures.
Conduct testing of products and tools. Recommend modifications and corrections to design deficiencies through evaluation of operational capability of product/equipment.
Research, plan, analyze and support hardware design and modifications to determine the feasibility of design or application.
Research and analyze specifications and manuals of hardware products.
Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of repair process, repair results and issues identified during the process.
Collaboration: Working closely with repair technicians, hardware engineers and relevant teams..
Process Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement to enhance overall repair process, quality and efficiency.
Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by Line Manager.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in terminal repair is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reconcile discrepancies and identify areas for improvement.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
