CONCRETE ESTIMATOR
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (CST)
Work Modality: On-Site | Nairobi
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Construction Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for Construction projects. This role is key to ensuring project profitability through cost analysis, takeoffs, and professional proposals.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret plans and technical specifications
- Upload documents into PlanSwift to perform accurate takeoffs
- Calculate quantities of concrete, rebar, formwork, and related materials
- Request and evaluate supplier quotations
- Develop estimates and cost analyses in Excel (advanced level)
- Prepare and present complete and professional proposals
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and operations teams to ensure accuracy
- 1–3 years of experience in estimating or takeoffs
- Advanced Excel – required
- Degree in Architecture, Construction, or related field (plus)
- English level C1 (written and spoken)
- PlanSwift (Plus)
