Qualifications and Experience

  • Live within the region

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Crop Science, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, extension services, business development, or a related field.
  • Experience working with farmers, farmer groups, cooperatives, or agricultural value chains is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • A valid motorcycle or driving licence is an added advantage

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with farmer organizations, agricultural stakeholders, and key partners.
  • Promote the adoption of the company’s agricultural products and solutions through demonstrations, training, and field engagement.
  • Plan and execute field activities, customer visits, and product awareness campaigns.
  • Support customers with technical product information and agronomic guidance.
  • Achieve agreed sales and territory growth targets.
  • Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
