Qualifications and Experience
Live within the region
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Crop Science, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, extension services, business development, or a related field.
- Experience working with farmers, farmer groups, cooperatives, or agricultural value chains is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- A valid motorcycle or driving licence is an added advantage
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
- Build and maintain relationships with farmer organizations, agricultural stakeholders, and key partners.
- Promote the adoption of the company’s agricultural products and solutions through demonstrations, training, and field engagement.
- Plan and execute field activities, customer visits, and product awareness campaigns.
- Support customers with technical product information and agronomic guidance.
- Achieve agreed sales and territory growth targets.
- Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
