  • We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Azure Business Manager and Consultant to drive the adoption and successful implementation of Microsoft Azure solutions across the African continent. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans, fostering customer relationships, and providing expert consulting services to help organizations leverage the full potential of Azure cloud computing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud computing business development, sales, or consulting roles, with a focus on Microsoft Azure solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Azure's technical capabilities, services, and solutions, as well as cloud computing trends and best practices.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful business strategies, driving revenue growth, and fostering long-term customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in project management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in French or other African languages being an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the African region.

  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities within the region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market plans, pricing strategies, and sales initiatives tailored to the unique dynamics of African markets.

Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building strong relationships with key decision-makers in various industries across Africa.
  • Understand customer requirements, pain points, and business objectives, and position Azure solutions as the optimal choice to address their needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing strategic guidance and recommendations on leveraging Azure to drive digital transformation and achieve their business goals.

Azure Solution Consulting and Advisory:

  • Provide expert consulting services to customers, guiding them on the design, implementation, and optimization of Azure solutions.
  • Conduct technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer initiatives to upskill customers and internal teams on Azure technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure product releases, features, and industry trends, and evangelize their adoption within the African market.

Business Development and Partner Ecosystem:

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key industry players, resellers, and system integrators to expand the Azure ecosystem in the African region.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint go-to-market strategies, co-selling opportunities, and channel enablement programs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, promoting Azure solutions and thought leadership.

Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business strategies and customer engagements.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance results and customer satisfaction.
