Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive of Nendo Limited

Want to do administrative, marketing, and sales support at a small company where your work and your opinions are valued?

  1. Are you a self-starting, detail-oriented, tech-savvy person who’s passionate about digital marketing, sales support, and administrative support…and who wants to work directly with the founder/owner of the company?

  2. Do your friends make fun of how organized you are? Do you enjoy writing, editing, and finding typos that other people miss? Do you love coordinating projects, and people, and taking care of the small details?

  3. Do you enjoy learning how businesses work, and helping business leaders solve problems? Are you a strong multitasker? Do you love finding new shortcuts in Google Workspace(Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail for Business), an online project management tool?

The Executive Assistant (EA) role requires a deep sense of personal organization and support to the office of the Founder of Nendo Limited. The work will require covering the following key areas, as a strategic partner seconded to the Founder of the organization. As EA, your primary function will be providing reliable and focused support to company Founder & CEO, Mark Kaigwa, with all aspects of this organization and its day-to-day operations. You will be expected to show the highest discretion, including:

  1. Managing, Reading, Responding, and Escalating Emails on the CEO’s behalf

  2. Delivering Writing and Conducting Online Desk Research for Projects, Talks, and Meetings

  3. Taking Calls and Managing the Flow & Follow up of Internal/External Communications

  4. Scheduling, Planning, Prioritising, and Coordination

  5. Administration (Office and Personal)

Are You in the 5%?

This job is wrong for perhaps 95% of people. Indeed, 95% would hate it.

Why? Because you’ll need to balance high urgency and high attention to detail and take initiative more than your past leaders/managers wanted you to do. You’ll also do a range of things, far more than if you were at a large faceless corporation. You can’t hide in your cubicle, because we want your insights on how to make things better. Also, there is no cubicle – we work remotely. Work won’t always be dropped onto your lap. You’ll have to make things happen and have the desire to make work happen and make your teammates better.

Yet if you’re in that 5%, this might be the best job of your career—because you’re making an impact, and you’re seeing that impact every single day.
