We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator to handle the creation and management of both short-form and long-form content on our social media platforms. Collaborating with the Social Media Manager, Marketing Consultant, and Senior Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for crafting authentic and captivating social content for FXPesa.

This role provides a chance to enhance the digital presence of our brands, with a primary focus on generating ideas, capturing footage, and editing content for all our platforms. A sincere passion for social media and online engagement is crucial, along with a keen awareness of the latest trends and a profound understanding of best practices.

We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator to handle the creation and management of both short-form and long-form content on our social media platforms. Collaborating with the Social Media Manager, Marketing Consultant, and Senior Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for crafting authentic and captivating social content for FXPesa.

Responsibilities

• Analyze our current brand’s content and audience to identify opportunities and enhancements.
  
• Evolve our short-form video strategy with an eye towards quantitative analysis: run lots of content experiments and iterate on the ones that work.
  
• Conceptualize, script, and storyboard video ideas that effectively communicate key messages and engage our target audience.
  
• Shoot and edit both video and stills for various social media platforms, such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  
• Write creator briefs, provide direction, and collaborate with influencers, photographers, videographers, designers, and other content creators as needed to enhance the creative process.
  
• Monitor viewer behavior and latest industry trends to inform video content approach and capture.
  
• Work cross-functionally to help promote different product features, launches and initiatives like podcasts.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in creating both short-form and long-form content for social media platforms with a creative flair and the ability to tell compelling stories.
  
• Ability to generate innovative ideas, conceptualize engaging video content, and develop storyboards that effectively convey key messages.
  
• Capable of analyzing current brand content, audience engagement, and viewer behavior, using data-driven insights to enhance content strategy.
  
• Capable of handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  

Experience Requirements

• At least 2 years experience in content creation
  
• Ability to produce, shoot, and edit short-form videos independently
  
• Fluency with digital production and post-production tools
  
• Have a strong portfolio that showcases storytelling & social media video experience
