As a Call Center Specialist, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service and support through inbound and outbound calls. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience with every interaction. Your role involves maintaining a thorough understanding of products or services, navigating systems and databases efficiently, and adhering to company policies and procedures. Additionally, you will contribute to the overall success of the call center by meeting or exceeding performance targets, maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, and collaborating with team members to continuously improve service delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responding to customer queries in a timely and accurate way via emails or chats.
  • Identifying customer needs and assisting customers with their queries.
  • Escalate technical issues.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and Company policies.
  • Knowledge of the admin area, the ability to use all the provided tools (training).
Experience needed:
  • BSc/HND in any relevant field or certifications in customer service or call center operations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of English and Nigeria Languages: Hausa, Yoruba, or Igbo
  • Must have lived in Nigeria for more than a year
  • Experience in sales or customer support
  • Computer literacy
  • The ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Responsible attitude
  • Positive, can-do attitude, “solution-finder”
