Food Processing Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparation of practical classes/courses and keeping of student records, practical allocation and loss/breakage records
  
• Maintain Laboratory Inventory and ensure Safety
  
• Collection and preparation of teaching and research materials from procurement
  
• Ensure that the laboratory equipment is clean and available for the next practical.
  
• Issue Materials and equipment during laboratory practical sessions
  
• Carry out maintenance of food processing equipment
  
• Carry out production of food products in the processing section
  
• Proficient in laboratory techniques and testing procedures.
  

Requirements

• Diploma in Food processing and Science Technology
  
• Must have at least 3 years' experience with a reputable institution
  
• Must be computer literate
  
• Above the age of 25 years
