Forklift Operator

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate in Forklift Operations, Driving License, or related technical training.
  
• Occupational Trade Tests III/II/I for forklift operators from a recognized institution.
  
• First Aid Certificate Course (minimum 1 week) from a recognized institution.
  
• At least 3 years’ hands-on forklift experience in a food processing or manufacturing setting.
  
• Experience with electronic forklifts or similar machinery is an added advantage.
  
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to forklift operation and food processing.
  

• Operate forklifts to transport avocados within ripening chambers and production areas.
  
• Load and unload avocados from trucks, ensuring proper stacking and storage.
  
• Arrange bins logically as per GRN to avoid mix-ups.
  
• Follow all safety protocols and conduct regular forklift inspections.
  
• Handle avocados carefully to maintain quality standards.
  
• Coordinate with the Ripening Chamber Supervisor and other team members for smooth operations.
  
• Perform routine forklift maintenance and report issues.
  
• Maintain accurate operation records, including logs and incident reports.
