The Chequered Flag is a well-established garage and car workshop in Nairobi, Kenya, specializing in a wide range of automotive services, from standard oil changes to major repair services such as engine and gearbox overhauls. We take pride in our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. In addition to our workshop services, we manage a fleet of 25 hire cars, which we service and maintain internally. With a team of 25 dedicated employees, we are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our dynamic team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our workshop.

Job Overview:

As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our garage and car workshop. This includes managing a team of skilled technicians, scheduling and coordinating service appointments, ensuring the timely completion of projects, and maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of our services. You will also play a crucial role in managing the maintenance of our internal fleet of 25 hire cars. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automotive repair, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

    • Schedule and coordinate service appointments to meet customer and internal fleet maintenance needs.
  3. Quality Assurance:

    • Maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of automotive services provided by the workshop.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations.
  4. Customer Satisfaction:

    • Interact with customers to understand their needs and address any concerns or inquiries.
    • Work closely with the team to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  5. Fleet Management:

    • Manage the maintenance and servicing of the internal fleet of 25 hire cars.
