Description

As a Growth Engineer, you will sit at the intersection of marketing, data, and code. You’ll build automated sales funnels, optimize our SaaS product for user acquisition, and handle technical customer support. Your goal is to bridge the gap between building the product and finding its audience, using your dev skills to scale our business operations and marketing efforts.

This role is open to candidates of all backgrounds and abilities.


Responsibilities
Marketing & Acquisition
  • Performance Engineering: Build and manage automated leadgeneration scripts and landing page experiments (A/B testing) to lower acquisition costs.

  • Tracking & Attribution: Implement data layers (like Segment or GTM) to ensure every dollar spent on marketing is tracked back to a specific user action.


Sales & Funnel Automation
  • CRM Integration: Automate the flow of "Sign-ups" to "Qualified Leads" by building custom integrations between your SaaS and CRMs like HubSpot or Pipedrive.

  • In-Product Education: Develop "onboarding flows" (tours, tooltips) within the app to convert free users into paying customers without manual intervention.


Customer Support & IT

  • Self-service systems: Build and maintain a technical Knowledge Base and automated chatbots to handle 80% of common IT/Support queries.

  • Technical TroubleShooting; Act as the first line of defense for bug reports, fixing minor front-end issues before escalating them to the core dev team.


Operations & Scalability

  • Data Reporting: Create automated dashboards (e.g., Looker or ChartMogul) for the Founder to monitor Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) and Churn.

  • Process Documentation: Write the "Playbook" for every task they perform so the next hire (e.g., a dedicated Support rep) can be onboarded instantly.


QUALIFICATIONS


Educational and Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in CS, IT, BBIT or any related field is required.

  • Bonus points for a strong GitHub profile or a Portfolio demonstrating past SaaS marketing campaigns and software projects.

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred.


Skills & Competencies:
  • Full-stack developer background with a GitHub profile.

  • Ability to design, build and deploy mobile applications.

  • Ability to develop technical sales plan by fully understanding the software programs.

  • Familiarity with Artificial intelligence and system automations.

  • Demonstrated Teamwork and Leadership skills.

  • Must have an access to a personal laptop, cell phone and wifi.

  • Must have strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
