Requirements for Appointment:

For appointment as a Human Resource Officer II – Payroll, a person must possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum relevant experience of five (5) years from a reputable organization;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E.) minimum mean grade of C+ or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
  • Postgraduate Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • A member of the Institute of Human Resource Management of Kenya (IHRM-K) in good standing;
  • Certificate in computer application skills.


Responsibilities

For appointment as a Human Resource Officer II – Payroll, a person must possess the following qualifications:

  • Preparing the payroll and statutory returns;
  • Preparing bank reconciliations and payment schedules to third parties;
  • Implementing staff welfare and benefits programs;
  • Developing and implementing reward management systems;
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements;
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records;
  • Preparing and forwarding monthly payroll reports to the Finance and Accounts Department.
