Hydro-Geologist II

Person Specifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Hydrology, Geosciences or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
  
• Registration with the Geological Society of Kenya;
  
• Member of Geological Board of Kenya; and
  
• Proficiency in computer applications.
  

• Carrying out hydro-geological, geo-technical, seismological and geophysical surveys on water projects;
  
• Mapping, monitoring and evaluating groundwater;
  
• Coordinating and administering hydro geological functions;
  
• Formulating and reviewing policies on hydro geology;
  
• Developing, implementing and realizing the division’s strategic plans and objectives;
  
• Collecting data on hydro-geological, geo-technical and geophysical surveys on water projects.
