As Logistics & Delivery Coordinator, you will manage the end-to-end movement of goods across international supply chains. You will ensure all deliveries are planned, compliant, and executed seamlessly to meet contract and client requirements.
• Plan and coordinate global shipments (air, sea, land)
• Manage freight forwarders, customs clearance, and delivery timelines
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and documentation
• Align logistics plans with sourcing, pricing, and tender requirements
• Track shipments and proactively manage delays or risks
• Manage Incoterms, routing, and cost optimisation strategies
• Coordinate delivery to final destination, including complex or remote locations
• Maintain logistics records, tracking systems, and reporting
• Deliver shipments on time and within budget
• Maintain zero compliance or documentation errors
• Ensure smooth coordination across suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight coordination
• Strong understanding of international shipping, customs, and Incoterms
• Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments under pressure
• Experience with UN, NGO, or government logistics (advantage)

This role is critical — execution of delivery is what completes the contract.
Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and execute the movement of goods across international supply chains (air, sea, and land)
• Develop efficient logistics plans aligned with tender requirements and delivery timelines
• Ensure smooth coordination from supplier dispatch to final delivery destination
• Manage shipments from origin to destination, including scheduling, routing, and carrier selection
• Track shipments in real-time and proactively manage delays, disruptions, or risks
• Provide regular updates on shipment status to internal teams and stakeholders
• Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, and logistics partners
• Negotiate freight rates and delivery timelines to optimise cost and efficiency
• Build strong relationships with logistics partners to ensure reliable service
• Ensure full compliance with international shipping regulations and country-specific requirements
• Prepare and manage all shipping documentation, including:
- Commercial invoices
- Packing lists
- Bills of lading / airway bills
Certificates of origin
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation to avoid delays or penalties
• Apply and manage appropriate Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, DDP) based on contract requirements
• Align logistics strategy with pricing, sourcing, and contractual obligations
• Ensure clarity of responsibilities across suppliers, carriers, and clients
• Work closely with:
- Sourcing & Supplier Manager
- Pricing / Costing Analyst
Tender / Bid Specialists
• Ensure logistics plans are aligned with sourcing decisions, cost structures, and bid commitments
• Support tender submissions by providing accurate delivery timelines and logistics feasibility
• Identify potential risks such as delays, customs issues, or supply chain disruptions
• Develop contingency plans and alternative routing strategies
• Resolve logistics issues quickly to minimise impact on delivery timelines
• Coordinate last-mile delivery, including complex or remote locations
• Ensure goods are delivered in line with contract requirements and client expectations
• Confirm successful delivery and completion of logistics obligations
• Maintain accurate logistics records, shipment tracking systems, and documentation
• Monitor logistics performance, including delivery timelines, costs, and efficiency
• Provide reports and insights to improve logistics operations
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
• Contribute to building scalable logistics systems to support high-volume tender execution
• Support the development of best practices in global supply chain operations
