A transport and logistics firm is seeking for results driven Product manager to developing long-term relationships with customers and achieve financial growth.


Job Purpose


To provide commercial teams with best solutions that can increase the product revenues and profits at the same time enhance product operations service, efficiency, increasing revenue growth, profitability & customer retention.




Key Responsibilities




• Build a freight culture and raise product awareness throughout the business.

• Develop and implement regional freight strategy.

• Establish relationships and interaction with the Network and develop/ improve trade lanes.

• Achieve regional freight revenue targets.

• Identify sales opportunities to drive product growth and support regional sales team in securing freight business.

• Drive customer initiatives through effective policy implementation of standards and procedures applicable to customer requirements, to ensure client retention.

• Evaluate, monitor, and improve the quality of customer interaction.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and other departments to define product requirements and specification.

• Negotiate and reduce costs from suppliers (airlines, ocean lines, trucking companies)

• Coordinate with the concerned Regional/Global Product Managers on all operational changes and updates needed.

• Lead, motivate and empower staff through effective and open communication and coaching.

Minimum Requirements

▪ At least 5 years working experience within a similar role in the Freight (Air, Sea and Road) industry.

▪ Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross- functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
▪ At least 5 years’ experience in a senior management position
▪ At least 10 years’ experience in the logistics/supply chain industry.
▪ Proven successful track record at successfully managing a team.
▪ Strong Business Acumen
▪ Must be willing to travel locally and internationally.
