Our client sells the finest alcohol at wholesale & and retail prices. The depot manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of a depot or warehouse facility and optimizing the depot's performance to meet organizational goals and
customer satisfaction.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in warehousing and transportation.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Budget management experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles is an advantage.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels and reorder products as needed to prevent stock outs or overstock
situations.Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to minimize damage and loss.
Logistics and Distribution:
Optimize routing and scheduling to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery
efficiency.Collaborate with transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and manage depot staff, including supervisors, warehouse workers, and
drivers.
Set performance expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching
and feedback.Foster a positive and safe work environment, emphasizing teamwork and adherence to
company policies.Safety and Compliance:Stay updated on regulatory requirements related to the storage and transportation of
goods and ensure compliance.Conduct regular safety training and drills for depot personnel.
Cost Control:
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce operational
expenses.Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Customer Service:
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely
manner.Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting service level agreements.
Maintenance and Equipment:
Schedule regular inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
Reporting and Analysis:
• Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for efficiency
gains.
Develop and implement action plans based on analysis results.
