Job Purpose

To drive revenue growth within a defined geographic or industry-based territory by proactively identifying and closing business opportunities for Bakyson’s full suite of ICT and ELV solutions. The role demands an aggressive sales mindset, solution-selling capability, and strong client relationship management to meet sales targets and support business expansion.


Responsibilities
1. Sales Target Achievement
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.

  • Close business opportunities by engaging clients from initial contact through to deal closure.

  • Track and report on all sales activities using the approved CRM system (e.g., Zoho/HubSpot).

2. Lead Generation & Pipeline Development

  • Identify and pursue new leads across hospitality, commercial real estate, corporate, healthcare, and educational sectors.

  • Conduct cold calls, site visits, networking, and email campaigns to generate qualified leads.

  • Maintain a healthy pipeline with opportunities at all sales cycle stages.

3. Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders including property developers, hotel operators, contractors, and consultants.

  • Actively listen to client needs and recommend tailored Bakyson solutions from the company’s portfolio (HSIA, IPTV, CCTV, GRMS, BMS, Access Control, Fire Alarm, etc.).

  • Provide clients with accurate technical and commercial information in collaboration with the presales team.

4. Proposal Coordination & Bid Management

  • Work closely with the Presales and Projects teams to deliver well-crafted technical and commercial proposals.

  • Ensure client proposals are submitted on time, professionally presented, and fully aligned with the RFP/RFI requirements.

  • Follow up consistently on submitted bids to drive conversion and negotiate terms where required.

5. Reporting & Sales Administration

  • Submit detailed weekly reports outlining client meetings, sales activities, and pipeline updates.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, proposals, and deal progress in CRM.

  • Prepare sales forecasts and input into company planning meetings.

6. Territory Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct market research within the assigned territory to stay updated on industry trends, client developments, and competitor offerings.

  • Provide feedback to management on pricing, market positioning, and new solution opportunities.

  • Monitor and report any major project announcements, tenders, or partnership opportunities.

7. Brand Representation & Business Development

  • Represent Bakyson professionally in industry events, exhibitions, and client functions.

  • Promote Bakyson’s brand, capabilities, and past project references to gain trust and credibility in the
    territory.

  • Recommend region-specific marketing and awareness strategies that can improve lead flow and visibility.

Key Deliverables

  • Weekly activity and opportunity pipeline reports

  • Monthly and quarterly revenue achievement reports

  • Signed proposals, contracts, and LPOs

  • Documented meeting notes, CRM updates, and client feedback

  • Closed deals and successful handover to implementation teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, ICT, or related field

  • At least 3 years of B2B solution sales experience preferably in ICT/ELV/technical services

  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and handle a complete sales cycle

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory
