KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales and Business Development:
- Proactively identify and target potential clients and markets.
- Develop and sustain client relationships, leveraging excellent product knowledge.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, earning performance-based bonuses.
Technical Expertise:
- Offer specialized advice, design and support on water pumps and prime movers.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements.
Client Support and Service:
- Resolve client inquiries and technical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with service teams and utilize customer feedback to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work in tandem with engineering and product teams for deeper product insights.
- Engage in trade shows and professional development sessions.
- Regularly report field sales visit outcomes and market insights to management.
Professionalism and Compliance:
- Adhere to the company's dress code, wearing the official shirt and tie uniform daily.
- Uphold the company's professional standards in all business dealings.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel: Be prepared for occasional travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Working Hours: Full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Saturdays from 8 AM to 1 PM.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical sales, with a focus on water pumps and prime movers.
- Deep understanding of mechanical and fluid dynamics principles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as required by the job.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Project management and technical consultancy experience.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Additional language skills are a plus.
