Description

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Engineering, Business

Administration (with technical background), or a related field.
• A Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Renewable Energy will be an added
advantage.
• Professional certifications in solar PV design, energy management, or sales management will be an
added advantage.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in solar sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial
role.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV system design, costing, regulatory compliance, and project

management.


Responsibilities
  1. Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing technical solar sales team to achieve individual and collective targets in alignment with organizational objectives.
  2. Develop, implement, and continuously refine effective solar sales strategies to drive revenue growth,expand market share, and support successful project execution.
  3. Review, evaluate, and approve solar system proposals, technical designs, quotations, and commercial offers to ensure technical accuracy, compliance with standards, pricing integrity, and alignment with client requirements.
  4. Analyze market trends, emerging solar technologies, customer energy needs, and the competitivelandscape to identify new business opportunities and proactively manage risks.
  5. Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships by delivering customized, technically sound solar solutions that meet customer-specific operational and financial needs.
  6. Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, pipeline updates, and market insights to senior management to support informed strategic decision-making.
  7. Collaborate closely with technical, operations, procurement, and project teams to ensure feasibility, accurate system sizing, smooth project handover, and high-quality installations.
  8. Coach, support, and guide the marketing team in developing and executing campaigns aligned with sales strategies to strengthen brand presence, generate qualified leads, and support business growth.
  9. Foster the professional growth and performance of sales and marketing teams through structured feedback, mentorship, training, and performance management.
  10. Oversee the planning, coordination, and monitoring of solar projects from pre-sales to execution, ensuring timelines, quality standards, customer satisfaction, and budgetary controls are met.
  11. Recruit, onboard, train, and continuously develop sales and marketing personnel to enhance technical competence, product knowledge, consultative selling skills, and market engagement.
  12. Manage and optimize sales and marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, cost control, and maximization of return on investment (ROI).
