Receipt and Verification:
- Offload incoming deliveries and meticulously verify quantities and quality/condition of goods against invoices.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damages promptly.
- Accurately input received items into the inventory management system i.e inFlow against the corresponding POs.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee the organization and storage of inventory effectively, adhering to established procedures and designated locations.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts of assigned inventory segments to verify accuracy and identify potential discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain a first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory rotation system.
- Process inventory adjustments (e.g., returns, damages) accurately and promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
- Share relevant inventory reports i.e. Expiries, damages, returns, variances etc in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding low stock or replenishment needs.
- Assist with the implementation of inventory control procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.
Picking and Packing:
- Oversee picking of orders quickly and precisely based on customer specifications and picking lists.
- Ensure packed products are of good quality as per the Quality SOPs.
- Oversee preparation of shipments by packing items securely and ensuring proper labeling for safe transport.
- Ensure adherence to packaging and delivery guidelines for different product types.
Warehousing Operations:
- Ensure maintenance of a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Identify and propose improvements to optimize warehouse layout and inventory management processes.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., ladder, weighing scales) if applicable.
- Collaborate effectively with other warehouse personnel and departments.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
