The Senior Civil Engineer will oversee the design, construction, structural integrity, and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure, including tower foundations, shelters, equipment platforms, and associated civil works. The role requires strong project management capabilities, technical expertise, contractor management skills, and experience delivering infrastructure projects safely, on time, and within budget.

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering works for telecommunications infrastructure projects.
  

• Review and approve structural designs, drawings, calculations, and engineering documentation.
  

• Conduct structural assessments and site evaluations to determine project feasibility and compliance with engineering standards.
  

• Manage the construction of telecom towers, foundations, equipment shelters, access roads, fencing, and related civil infrastructure.
  

• Supervise contractors, consultants, and construction teams to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and project timelines.
  

• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource utilization while ensuring cost optimization.
  

• Perform quality inspections and ensure all construction activities comply with applicable engineering codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
  

• Identify structural risks and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  

• Coordinate with internal technical teams, external vendors, local authorities, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  

• Support maintenance programs through structural audits, preventive inspections, and rehabilitation initiatives.
  

• Prepare technical reports, project updates, and engineering documentation for management review.
  

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  

• Registered or eligible for registration with a recognized engineering professional body.
  

• Project Management certification is an added advantage.
  

• Minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in civil engineering, with significant exposure to infrastructure development.
  

• Experience managing multiple large-scale construction projects simultaneously.
  

• Previous experience in telecommunications infrastructure, power, energy, utilities, or related infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
  

• Demonstrated experience in structural design, construction supervision, contractor management, and project delivery.
  

• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structures, foundation engineering, and structural analysis.
  

• Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, ETABS, or equivalent.
  

• Strong understanding of construction quality assurance and quality control practices.
  

• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations applicable to construction projects.
  

• Experience with project scheduling and cost management tools is an advantage.
