Description
Qualifications
- Trade Test, SSCE, or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Additional technical certifications are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in truck maintenance, specifically electrical systems.
- Experience working with diesel trucks is required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on trucks, trailers, and tractors efficiently.
- Detect and rectify electrical fault codes using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Ensure all assigned trucks and trailers are repaired in line with acceptable standards.
- Carry out routine electrical inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Work closely with fleet and maintenance teams to ensure vehicle availability.
- Ensure proper use of tools and adherence to safety procedures during repairs.
- Support continuous improvement in maintenance processes and fleet reliability.
