Minimum of ND in Engineering (Electrical or Electromechanical) or equivalent tertiary education.
Minimum of 3 years as a Maintenance Technician ideally in an FMCG.
Ability to implement maintenance plans for production equipment and utility Assets
Experience with modern asset management systems.
Previous experience in food processing or similar experience is compulsory.
Ensuring plant start-ups and shutdowns are done safely and properly.
Ability to train Operators on equipment best practices
Knowledge of HSE standards.
Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
Accurate, decisive, and persuasive.
People management and strong leadership skills.
Proficiency with MS Office(Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint & GoogleDocs).

Duties

Implement asset care plans for manufacturing equipment
Carry out all Maintenance activities as stated in the maintenance plan with proper documentation.
Carry out routine maintenance checks and inspections on equipment
Review plant reliability to ensure equipment is operating optimally and to identify problems or opportunities.
Analyze plant performance data to identify opportunities for improvement ofplant performance.
Analyze plant failure modes and investigate causes for repeat failures to identify and correct root causes.
Work with the Production Manager and Maintenance Engineer to achieve weekly maintenance and production target
