Description
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering is an advantag.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in the automobile industry
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a workshop or service environment
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical faults
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in basic reporting and documentation
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily workshop/technical activities
- Lead a team of technicians in vehicle inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance
- Ensure all jobs are completed efficiently and in line with quality and safety standards
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults and provide technical guidance
- Monitor workflow, allocate tasks, and ensure timely delivery of services
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, and parts usage
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities
- Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Liaise with management on performance, technical issues, and process improvements
