Crane Mechanic - RTG

Qualifications

• Continuous improvement mindset: curiosity about equipment reliability and commitment to safe, quality workmanship
  
• HND, ND, Trade Test, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  
• 3–5 years’ experience as a mechanic in ports, mining, steel, or heavy manufacturing environments
  
• Experience working on Liebherr RTGs or MHCs is an advantage
  
• Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance instructions
  
• Basic electrical knowledge and willingness to respond to emergency repairs
  

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modifications on RTGs, MHCs, and related equipment in line with OEM and safety standards
  
• Diagnose faults and perform breakdown repairs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment availability
  
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities as scheduled
  
• Repair and refurbish mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components
  
• Complete work orders, confirmation slips, and maintenance records accurately
  
• Follow HSSE procedures, safe working practices, and housekeeping standards
  
• Work shifts and standby duties to support 24‑hour terminal operations
