Description
- Prepare and assess patients for cardiac surgery.
- Provide perioperative and postoperative nursing care.
- Assist the surgical team with cardiac procedures and theatre preparation.
- Monitor patients and promptly identify and escalate complications.
- Administer medications and treatments safely.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, perfusionists, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMCN licence.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in cardiac surgery, cardiothoracic theatre, ICU, or perioperative care.
- Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and emergency-response skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
