Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate loading and dispatch activities in line with standard processes and procedures.
- Monitor customer schedules and proactively plan deliveries to prevent stockouts.
- Supervise and manage the despatch team to prevent zero-value transactions.
- Engage registered transporters for truck allocation and optimize fleet usage.
- Minimize internal and external demurrage for dedicated trucks through efficient scheduling.
- Prepare and submit daily delivery loadout reports for tracking and analysis.
- Notify corporate and dealer customers, as well as the sales team, about deliveries.
- Evaluate dispatch performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies.
