Requirements

  • BSc/HND in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment. Possession of accredited professional certification(s) in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.


Responsibilities

  • Carry out and oversee vehicle air conditioning diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with workshop standards.
  • Carry out complex vehicle air conditioning repairs while providing technical guidance and support to workshop staff as required.
  • Coordinate and participate in the inspection, servicing, testing, and commissioning of vehicle air conditioning systems, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Monitor the condition and performance of vehicle air conditioning systems, recommend preventive maintenance actions, and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
  • Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and work areas, in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition, while ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records, repair reports, and documentation of completed work.
  • Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
