Education:
- A Degree or HND in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Any relevant certifications in graphic design software or related areas can be a plus.
Professional Experience:
- Experience (minimum of five years) working as a graphic designer either in the non-profit sector, freelance, or in a design agency. Experience in managing projects from conception to completion.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
- Knowledge of typography, layout, color theory, and composition principles.
- Ability to create visually appealing designs for various mediums including print, web, and social media.
- Experience in creating logos, brand identities, marketing materials, and other graphic assets.
- Understanding of design trends and ability to adapt designs accordingly.
- Ability to work with clients to understand their needs and translate them into effective designs.
- Strong communication skills to present ideas and concepts to clients and team members.
- Time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Portfolio:
- A portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects across different mediums of past work to be submitted.
Creativity and Innovation:
- We are looking for evidence of creative thinking and innovative solutions in their portfolio.
- Ability to think outside the box and push creative boundaries.
Professionalism:
- Professionalism in communication and conduct.
- Ability to take constructive criticism and incorporate feedback into designs.
