- Are you an experienced leader in the Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy General Manager (DGM) in the HEMM division of our Cement Industry at Dangote Group.
- As the DGM, you will play a crucial role in the overall management and operations of the HEMM department. Your friendly, approachable attitude will contribute to a positive work environment and effective collaboration within the team.
- To excel in this role, you should have a solid background in the Cement Industry and expertise in Heavy Earth Moving Machinery. Developing and implementing systems to manage and control HEMM across the plants in the DCP.
- Developing and implementing HEMM metrics to be used to identify gaps in productivity.
- Ensuring that all HEMM operators are properly trained, have the requisite certification and are competent to operate the equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitoring HEMM maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal asset performance and minimal downtime.
- Ensuring that all relevant administrative documentation, such as maintenance logs, is complete and accurate.
- Ensuring that HEMM procurement is carried out in a timely manner.
- Participating in the planning and execution of projects.
