Lead Electrical Technician

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline; COREN certification is an added advantage
  
• Minimum of 6–10 years’ experience in industrial electrical systems within oil and gas or similar facilities, including experience with high- and low voltage systems
  

• Maintain and monitor transformers, switchgear, generators, and distribution systems; ensure reliable power supply across plant operations; develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical systems; troubleshoot electrical faults and system failures; manage load distribution and power optimization; support commissioning, startup, and shutdown activities; ensure proper documentation of electrical systems and maintenance activities; contribute to reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
  
• Enforce electrical safety procedures and standards; ensure compliance with hazardous area classifications and electrical codes; implement lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures; identify and mitigate electrical hazards; support incident investigations and corrective actions; promote safe work practices
