Description
Provide strategic leadership for the mechanical maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and reliability of plant equipment.
Oversee maintenance, inspection, and repair activities for critical mechanical systems such as crushers, kilns, mills, and conveyors.
Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure consistent operational performance.
Analyze equipment performance data, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective and improvement actions.
Coordinate mechanical maintenance during plant shutdowns and major overhauls.
Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations in all maintenance operations.
Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets, and resource allocation for mechanical activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Mentor and develop engineers and technicians to strengthen team capability and performance.
Education: B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance and operations within the cement or heavy process industry.
Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role with strong team coordination and decision-making skills.
Deep technical understanding of mechanical systems and processes in cement production.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex maintenance challenges.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of HSE regulations, reliability engineering, and maintenance best practices.
