Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all mechanical piping activities in the construction and maintenance phases of the project.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders tensure seamless execution of piping installations.
- Conduct regular inspections tverify the quality of workmanship and materials, and ensure that all piping work complies with project specifications, industry codes, and safety standards.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials required for piping installations.
- Coordinate with procurement tensure timely availability of piping materials.
- Motivate and coach team members tachieve high productivity and quality standards.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback timprove team performance.
- Enforce and adhere tsafety protocols and regulations on the construction site. Respond tand investigate safety incidents, and implement corrective actions tprevent recurrence.
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure that all personnel are trained on safety procedures related tpiping activities.
- Develop and maintain a construction schedule for piping activities.
- Monitor progress against the schedule and take corrective actions as needed tensure timely completion.
- Communicate effectively with project management, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding piping progress and issues.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on piping installation, including daily reports, punch lists, and nonconformance reports.
- Identify and resolve any issues or challenges related tpiping installations promptly.
- Collaborate with the project team tfind effective solutions ttechnical and logistical problems.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, codes, and standards governing quality in construction and refining projects.
