Description
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 O-Level credits, including Mathematics and English/ NABTEB, or Trade Test Grade.
- NABTEB / City & Guilds (C&G) in a related discipline.
- Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, welding, fabrication, or industrial equipment repairs.
Responsibilities
- Fitting and assembly of structural frameworks and housing
- Carry out installation, servicing and repair of factory machinery including pumps, gear boxes, drives, etc.
- Produce machine components using relevant hand tools
- Fabrication of material handling equipment, conveyors, elevators for Flour Mills and subsidiaries
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on the packing machines to minimize equipment downtime.
- Replace damaged, worn, or defective structural and mechanical components as required.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities in line with maintenance plans and operational requirements.
- Report the general condition of equipment and recommend replacement when necessary to supervisor.
