Qualifications & Experience

5 O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English.
NABTEB / City & Guilds (C&G) Technical in Electrical or related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or related industrial environment.

Carry out planned preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment to minimize breakdowns, including lubrication, alignment, inspection and mechanical adjustments.
Troubleshoot mechanical faults, identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.
Perform mechanical repairs, overhauls and replacement of worn or damaged components as required.
Support maintenance of milling, conveying and packing equipment including rollers, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, conveyors, baggers and associated systems.
Collaborate with production teams to plan and execute maintenance activities during shutdowns and minimize production downtime.
Participate in equipment installation, commissioning and modification activities as required.
Ensure all mechanical works comply with plant safety rules, lock out/tag out procedures and food safety requirements.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs and spare parts usage
