  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in solar energy system production, installation, or maintenance, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role. 
  • Knowledge of the solar energy industry standards, codes, and regulations. 
  • Knowledge of the solar energy system design, installation, and maintenance principles and practices. 
  • Knowledge of the plant management and operation principles and practices, including budgeting, resource allocation, and human resources. 
  • Proficiency in the use of computer software and applications, such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and SAP. 
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of staff and subcontractors. 
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. 
  • Ability to analyse and solve complex problems and make sound decisions. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with various audiences and stakeholders.

  • Responsible for overseeing the production, and maintenance of solar energy systems and components.
  • He will ensures that the plant meets the quality, safety, and environmental standards and regulations.
  • He will also manage the plant staff, budget, and resources, and coordinate with other departments and stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Plan, organize, direct, and run the day-to-day operations of the solar assembly plant to meet the customers’ expectations and the company’s goals.
  • Purchase or rent the equipment and materials needed for solar energy system installation and maintenance and monitor their inventory and usage.
  •  Coordinate and oversee the installation of photovoltaic (PV) solar and solar thermal systems at various sites and ensure their conformance to codes and specifications. •
  •  Perform regular inspections and audits of the solar energy systems and components and troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects.
  • Implement and monitor the preventive and corrective maintenance programs for the solar energy systems and components and ensure their optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement the plant policies and procedures and ensure their alignment with the company’s strategic initiatives and vision. 
  • Prepare and manage the plant budget and expenses and optimize the production costs and asset utilization.
  •  Attract, ssupervise and train the solar assembly plant staff, including solar installers, technicians, engineers, and subcontractors, and ensure their compliance with safety and quality standards.
  •  Analyse and report the plant performance and productivity metrics and identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  •  Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the solar energy industry, and research and evaluate new methods and equipment.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with the customers, suppliers, vendors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
