Description
- Minimum of 5 years’ FMCG sales experience with current experience in a Regional Sales Manager role.
- Strong understanding of Northern Nigeria FMCG markets and distribution channels.
- Proven record of meeting and exceeding regional sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute regional sales strategies to achieve volume and revenue targets.
- Manage and coach area sales teams to improve productivity and performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key trade partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics within the region.
- Ensure effective route-to-market execution, product availability, and merchandising standards.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review.
- Enforce compliance with company sales policies and trade standards.
