Description
Qualifications & Experience
- B.SC/HND in Logistics, Transportation Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Membership or certification from relevant professional bodies such as CILT, CIOTA, or NIIT is required.
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in fleet management, transportation operations, or logistics management.
- Technical knowledge of fleet management systems will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections, route surveys, and operational assessments to understand customer requirements and terrain conditions.
- Analyze fleet operations and transportation processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvement initiatives.
- Develop and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency, safety, service levels, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure the deployment of suitable truck types based on delivery terrain, customer requirements, and operational needs.
- Track and improve truck utilization, fleet productivity, and delivery performance across the transport network.
