Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a degree in communications or marketing-related fields.
- They must have at least 2 years of experience in managing communications, resources mobilization, or fundraising roles with national or international institutions.
- They should be dynamic and proficient in the use of modern communications tools, and equipment.
- The ideal candidate should have the ability for turning the most complex of issues into simple, compelling messages and stories.
- They should be enthusiastic about compassionate work and be willing to go the extra mile to serve the plight of the disadvantaged or vulnerable in the community.
- The successful candidate will support the development of communications strategies that have the power to shape a public narrative, generate interest, and raise the PCAU profile, membership, partnership, supporters, and contributors.

- The officer will focus on strategic advocacy for the availability and access to palliative care, the organizational corporate image, interest generation, events management, information generation, and dissemination.
- He or she will oversee internal and external communications activities.
- They will support the management and delivery of the PCAU Communication Strategy.
- The officer will be directly responsible to the Advocacy and Communications Manager.
