Cardiac Critical Care Orderlies

To provide supportive, safe, and compassionate care to cardiac patients under the supervision of nursing and medical staff by assisting with patient mobility, hygiene, comfort, transportation, and maintenance of clean, orderly wards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Keep wards clean and in orderly condition.
  

• Transport patients to and from wards, procedure rooms, and diagnostic units.
  

• Send orders and pick supplies, linen, and drugs.
  

• Deliver patient laboratory samples to laboratories.
  

• Maintain sterility and hygiene in the unit.
  

• Deliver and retrieve contaminated and sterilized instruments to/from the sterilization unit (CSSD).
  

• Pack swabs and preparation materials.
  

Person/Job Specifications:

• Uganda Certificate of Education (O-Level) certificate.
  

• Training in any health-related attendant course is an added advantage.
