Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Public Health, Project Management or related field;
• Master’s degree in Medicine, Public Health, Project Management, Business Administration or related field;
• A minimum of five years’ relevant working experience with two years at managerial level;
• Experience working with a range of government, private sector, civil society counterparts, donors, and multilateral partners;
• Previous participation in local government, private sector, and NGOs in local events and initiatives;
• Good writing and communication skills in English;
• Good leadership and team management skills;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook;
• Be a Ugandan citizen or eligible to work in Uganda.

• Oversee all program activities in the district and provide the required support to ensure that they are implemented as scheduled.
• Maintain relationships and mutual understanding with the district leadership on program activities.
• Follow up on the implementation of signed Memorandum of Understanding with local partners as well as any sub awards or sub grants.
• Promote partnership among members of the program staff.
• Organize and participate in the facilitation of data reviews and compilation.
• Participate in supportive supervision activities.
• Facilitate the implementation of new policies, resource mobilisation and integration activities at district level.
• Facilitate capacity building of health facilities and ensure they conduct supportive supervision on a regular basis.
• Provide weekly updates of ongoing district activities to the Head Office.
• Oversee the preparation of quarterly reports and submission to the Head Office.
• Provide program performance updates to the relevant district stakeholders.
• Ensure program planned activities are incorporated into relevant comprehensive health plans.
• Provide overall supervision of the district office activities, office management, project expenditures and financial management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
